Star Fox Zero's release date delayed due to quality enhancements; Should players expect game out in 2016?

By

This year was supposed to be remarkable for many Nintendo fans as they are about to witness one of the most adored games from the developer. However, the release date of Star Fox Zero has experienced delay for the sake of quality.

Yusuke Hashimoto of Platinum Games has explained in a recent interview with GameSpot the main reason why the supposedly release date is delayed. Hashimoto made it clear that the delay happened because the team really wanted to be certain that the game will surely have the same "Platinum feel" with that of their previous titles.

Hashimoto went forward and admitted that the game developers had difficulty in creating the GamePad/television feature with two screens, but he also mentioned that the experience is both fun and interesting.

"What we're making here now, it's totally a new learning experience for us, which is kind of fun to find out," he said. Hashimoto also knew that the development team also lacks experience and knowledge in shooting games.

Despite the delay, Yusuke Hashimoto revealed an impressive technical achievement of the game. Star Fox Zero will have both the content presented on GamePad and television screen running at 60 frames per second. So there's seem to be nothing for Star Fox Zero fans to worry about in this delay.

Bidness Etc thinks that this could be frustrating for some Wii U user. Furthermore, they believe that what will happen in 2016 will help determine the fate of the company.

Meanwhile, Wii U owners still have a few high quality games to look forward to this holiday seasons, despite the delays of Star Fox and Zelda

In the meantime, Gamerant said that Wii U owners will still have some options for high quality games while waiting for Star Fox. Some of their recommendations include Mario Tennis which is to be launched in November and Xenoblade Chronicles X which is coming in December.

Knowing that the team just wants to be sure that the game will hit high quality standards makes some fans happy despite the delay. They just hope that the release date will not experience another delay as they are excited to play Star Fox Zero.
