Taylor Kinney opened up about his first encounter with his now-fiancé Lady Gaga in 2011. The two apparently started it off on the wrong foot as the actor admitted that he was slapped by the singer on their first ever encounter.
The 35-year-old actor, Taylor Kinney shared that he first met Lady Gaga when he starred in the music video of the singer's single "You and I" back in 2011. According to NZ City, the actor recalled when they were rolling their scene, he came up, kissed her but Lady Gaga apparently did not expect it. They cut the scene and she slapped him right after. The actor said it was extremely awkward at that point, but he did it again on their next take. During the second take, she didn't slap him anymore and they just had a good time.
The actor shared this encounter when he was on "Watch What Happens Live" and he said he was just instructed with what he should do and went ahead with it. EN Starz reported that what started out as an awkward encounter led to a very long and real romance. Kinney shared how they were shooting at around four or five in the morning then exchanged information after that. He believed there was pure chemistry between them as a few weeks went by and they just kept in touch. He was also asked about their upcoming big day and explained that they're both busy now and still deciding on that detail.
The couple has been engaged for less than a year after dating for a few years. Kinney proposed to Lady Gaga earlier this year on Valentine's Day, according to Inquistr. The couple are still yet to decide where they will be holding the ceremony, choosing between Los Angeles and New York. Despite the singer being very private about her personal life, she managed to reveal details of her relationship with the actor publicly. The actor has praised his fiancé over her acting debut on "The American Horror Story: Hotel" and is really impressed of her acting skills.
Even though the couple still has a lot to decide with regards to their wedding, they are definitely very excited about it. Despite being too busy to plan the whole thing, they manage to put it together slowly.
