A train station in Japan continues its operation, despite being scheduled to shut down three years ago, to serve one school girl who is about to graduate on March.
Yen retreats after higher guidance on Yuan
After rising over three percent recently, Japanese Yen eased after the strong guidance on Yuan by China's central bank. The Greenback against Japanese currency fell to its lowest level since August 2015. Several emerging economies' currencies were reeling under pressure.
Japan's Womenomics Goals Downgraded
Despite Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's "womenomics" plan to encourage more Japanese women in the workforce, the country doesn't seem to want to follow it. Japan's gender equality bureau has reduced its goal of hiring women in senior positions from 30% to 7% and leadership positions in the private sector to 15% by 2020.
