Romania sentences hacker 'Guccifer' to jail

A Romanian court sentenced hacker "Guccifer", who broke into the emails of former U.S. president George W. Bush's family, entertainment figures and the head of the Romanian secret service, to four years in jail on Friday.

GeoPost to sell Romanian delivery businesses to Speedy for €15.3M

Bulgaria-based courier firm Speedy will acquire the delivery businesses of France-based firm GeoPost in Romania from LA Poste's GeoPost Group and Yurtichi Cargo Servizi AS for €15.3 million.

Romania's Fondul Proprietatea exits from entire stake in Transgaz

Fondul Proprietatea on Thursday said it has put up for sale its 15% stake in state-owned gas grid operator Transgaz SA. The Romanian restitution fund raised RON303.5 million in its exit deal.
