Marketing intelligence solutions provider Origami Logic secured $15 million for its Series B financing round led by venture capital firm Jafco Ventures and joined by existing investors.

Secure mobile messaging app for enterprises Cotap raised $10 million for its Series B funding round led by Emergence Capital Partners. So far, the latest proceeds brought to $15.5 million Cotap's total funds raised.

RenovoRx Inc, a privately-held medical device maker, closed its series B funding round with $1.15 million. The financing was led by one of the largest angel groups in the US, Golden Seeds.

GoCardless, a payments platform for online Direct Debits in the UK, was able to obtain $7 million for its Series B funding round led by venture capital firm Balderton Capital.

Fashion e-commerce company Lyst was able to secure $14 million for its Series B funding round led by Balderton Capital and joined in by DFJ Esprit, Accel Partners and angel investors.

Zepp Labs Inc, a startup based in Los Gatos, California, closed its Series B round with $15 million to develop wearable technology to enable sports enthusiasts to step up their game.

Mohr Davidow Ventures led the Series B round for Vancouver, British Columbia-based BuildDirect which raised C$30 million. High profile investors Canadian investors like BDC Venture Capital also joined the round.

Cousera raised an additional USD 20 million in funding, bringing to a total tally of USD 63 million raised just from its Series B funding round. Backers behind this round were three of the universities that offered courses on Coursera and existing investors such as GSV Capital and Learn Capital.
