Impressive remarks made by the addition of Marvel characters in Disney Infinity 2.0 could possibly take the game franchise to new heights with the addition of Star Wars characters in Disney Infinity 3.0.
Through the years, Disney and Star Wars have been the two most iconic names in the world of entertainment, and with their merging as Disney bought the Star Wars franchise years ago, it would not be a surprise for them to end up in an exciting Disney Infinity 3.0. The game comes with a starter pack called "Twilight" which featured a Republic playset, inspired by the Clone Wars CG series which just ended airing a year ago. Attack of the Fanboy comments on the game's impressive anime style visuals as it depicts the meshing of Clone Wars and Rebels franchises of the Star Wars with the Disney world. Also noteworthy are the Star Wars Lego inspired humor.
The game also brags about Disney's unique feature, and it is that the game is offers a two-games-in-one scheme; Story and Toy Box. On the other hand, Toy Box features two new games in 3.0; Takeover and Speedway. News Rama describes the Toy Box Takeover as an action-adventure game wherein players get to choose a Disney character to control, be able to battle in multiple worlds and finally defeat the bad guys, saving the Toy Box. The game is playable in two player local co-op mode or in 4 player online mode.
On the other hand, the Toy Box Speedway is a kart-racing game which features Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar characters. There are nine specially themed tracks which depict actually existing places in the Disney universe, each having its unique music, sound effects, and recognizable items. Included are the tracks which actual races fictionally happened such as Tatooine in Star Wars and Sugar Rush track in Wreck-It Ralph. Players also get to choose between Time Trial, Race, and Combat modes. According to Game Zone review, the problems of getting stuck or getting off-track encountered in Disney Infinity was fixed in 3.0.
Fans and gamers alike would be able to witness the iconic amalgamation of Star Wars, Marvel and Disney characters battle and race together in the epic Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and WiiU.
