‘Hyrule Warriors Legends’ Screenshots Reveal Two New Characters And Major Additions

By

Developers Nintendo and Koei Tecmo posted screenshots in Hyrule's official website which provided some details regarding its updates to the game which includes a variety of additions. One of the most exciting is the revelation of two additional characters for its fantasy game, Hyrule Warriors Legends.

Joining the roster of Tetra, King Hyrule and Toon Link are Skull Kid and Phantom Ganon, the two new characters released by Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. Through the screenshots provided in the official website, Siliconera was able to have a preview of these characters. Skull Kid appears to be a masked character, being the third character to represent the Majora Mask game in this Hyrule Warrior Legends game. Wielding the Ocarina weapon, Skull Kid battles alongside his fairies, Chat and Trail. On the other hand, Phantom Ganon appears to be a dark character who fights with his magical abilities and giant swords.

Other development in the game as shown in the screenshots is the Wind Waker stage which, according to Geek Snack, features Toon Link as playable character. Another one is the Smash Boost Power system which could be of convenience when battling giant bosses. Other features such as Character Change and Ocarina Warp which enables a player to get four characters around a boss and replenish one's magic meter. Additions to the game were developed by Omega Force, the same team involved in the Dynasty Warriors series.

Originally playable for the Nintendo 3DS, the game also provided a code which will enable WiiU players to get the new characters as well. It is not certain, however, that the new villain Phantom Ganon will be a playable character. But he will no doubt be a boss character to beat in the game, Gamespresso reports.

Screenshots released by the developers truly revealed some major developments in the game such as new characters, new game systems, and new game abilities. These features shall be released along with Hyrule Warriors Legends sometime in 2016, playable in Nintendo 3DS, which shall have enabling features as the game could also be played in WiiU.
