Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc. announced today that it acquired MedTel Solutions, a Huntsville, AL-based telemedicine staffing company. The acquisition was closed on Monday, July 1, 2013.
The terms of the contract agreement included the issuance of 3 million shares of stock to MedTel's two founders as well as to enter into employment agreements. In addition, Jason Sowash, Matthew Street, and the rest of their team comprised the newest division of Net Medical Xpress Solutions, which is the "Net Medical Xpress Staffing."
MedTel founder Jason Sowash also said, "The talents, expertise and demonstrated track record of MedTel's team to identify and recruit highly competent specialists and physicians is a natural fit for the work Net Medical Xpress is doing. We believe our business provides Net Medical Xpress with significant leverage to expand its range of telemedicine services." An additional 250+ general practice physicians were added to Net Medical Xpress' nationwide staff.
This latest acquisition placed the total number of telemedicine units of Net Medical to four. The four units comprised of the following: Net Medical Xpress Staffing, Net Medical Xpress Specialists, Net Medical Xpress Services, and Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc.
