New Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 Sequel Phones Spotted In Indian Listings Website

By

Indian website Zauba may have leaked the successors of the Samsung Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5. Sequels of the smartphones appeared on the product shipments list.

Samsung was quiet if there were any successors to the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, both of which were launched in 2014. The new lead now is based on the Zauba listing.

The listing shows four smartphone shipments in total. What's notable is that there were two model numbers that stood out: the SM-A310F and SM-510F

Obviously, the two model numbers are very close to the SM-A300 and SM-A500 from the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5, respectively. The last letters is speculated to be a country code, according to Phone Arena.

Another interesting fact is that the port of discharge for the A3 and A5 were different. One is from Banglore Air Cargo while the other one is from Delhi Air Cargo.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 successor is also listed as having a 4.75-inch display, according to UberGizmo. For the Samsung Galaxy A5, the sequel has an increased 5.2-inch display.

Disappointingly, the increase is quite small. The original phone had a 5-inch screen, according to Android Headlines. The pixel resolution is not quite known yet.

The original A3 was powered by the Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 SoC. It had a quac-docre Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. For mobile video games, it featured the Adreno 306 GPU.

Specs are still unconfirmed. However, the first Samsung Galaxy A5 had the same SoC and processor. It did have 2GB RAM for more multitasking goodness.

Samsung might finally bump up the pixel resolution to 1080p for both phones as the size has increased. In addition, most flagship phones today have a higher QHD resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5 successors may soon make its way to the market. Fans will just have to wait for the official announcement from the South Korean tech giant.
