Fans are now waiting to line up for Google's newly launched LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P mainly because they are the first phones to run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The LG Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch FHD screen with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 423 ppi. To protect the oleophobic-coated screen even more, it has Gorilla Glass 3.
Just like the Huawei Nexus 6P, the new hexa-core phone includes the new USB Type-C port for faster charging and data transferring rates. They both have a 1.55um Nexus Camera, according to PC Advisor.
Another common feature for the LG Nexus 5X and the larger 5.7-inch phone is the all-new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Learning from the mistakes of the previous Lollipop version, Android M brings new features.
One of those features is the improved Google Now on Tap. Huawei Nexus 6P users will be able to use the digital assistant on any app they are currently using.
Both phones also come with the Nexus Imprint, which is Google's fancy term for their fingerprint sensor. The search engine giant claims that it will be fast at recognizing the user's print, according to Indian Express.
LG Nexus 5X users will also be able to experience better animations and intelligent app suggestions. In addition, they will also be able to take advantage of the new Doze battery saving feature from the Android M.
The Huawei Nexus 6P has a price of $499 for the 32GB model, according to NDTV. Of course the pretty steep price with Google's promise of monthly security updates.
Meanwhile, the LG Nexus 5X will cost $379 for the smaller 16GB model. The smaller price comes with a smaller screen but is still quite nice to look at.
Pre-ordering is now available in some parts of the world, but the smaller phone will start to ship on by the end of October. Huawei's phone still has no update,
The LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P are highly anticipated because of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. However, users will have to wait until Google will ship the new Nexus phones.
