Apple released its new operating system, iOS 9.1, in the public on October 21. The new iOS version was beta tested for more than a month before its launch date. iOS 9.1 is now available through over-the-air message or manual update.

MacRumors said that Apple also released Xcode 7.1 and tvOS golden master (GM) which will be available for Apple TV next week. The update includes additional and new emoji such as taco, burrito, cheese wedge, middle finger, champagne bottle, unicorn head, and more, related report added. More so, the new iOS includes update for Live Photos and new messages option for disabling photos for contacts.

Forbes also listed the abilities of the new iOS version to fix like issues in Calendar to become unresponsive in Month view, issues in preventing Game Centre from launching some users, issues in zooming content of apps, issues causing an incorrect unread mail count for POP mail accounts, and issues in preventing users from removing recent contacts from new mail or messages.

In addition, iOS 9.1 can fix bugs causing some messages to not appear in Mail search results; leaving a gray bar in the body of an Audio Message; activation errors on some carriers, and issues preventing some apps from updating from App Store. Thereby, iOS 9.1 can resolve problems causing the phone not to work efficiently.

On one hand, Apple is also scheduled to release iOS 9.2, but there are no pieces of information yet on the improvements or benefits that the new iOS version can bring for the users, according to 9to5mac.

Taking a look at the benefits of iOS 9.1, it is expected that iOS 9.2 can bring more enhancements to Apple devices. If iOS users will have difficulty in installing the new iOS, they can go to any Apple store and Apple Support Care for more assistance.
