It has been just a month when update 3.0 rolled out into all PS4 consoles around the world and now another update is in the offing: update version 3.10. This update to PS4 consoles is quite special since stickers and dev information will be added on the PS4 dashboard. Gamers, however, are quite 50/50 on this new update but show more interest in the stickers apps that come with this version rather than in the studio/dev accounts app.
According to Tatiana Morris of GameZone, the version 3.10 update for PS4 will allow gamers to follow verified accounts of their favorite game studios/devs. On the other hand, stickers apps will place additional "stickers" or emoticons, if you will, into the PS4 system to give more pizzazz to online messaging, Morris stated.
More on the new PS4 3.10 system update, Khurram Imtiaz of Gear Nuke cites that the latest update to PS4 is a minor one compared to the previous update 3.00 released September, 2015. With this said, the PS4 3.10 update falls short of being considered a major update. Not-so-significant "add-ons" are downloaded into the system bloating the console with apps that do not bring any improvements to overall system and gaming performance.
In consonance to how Gear Nuke regarded update 3.10 for PS4, Mike Nitroy of Gamespresso echoed the same sentiment. Nitroy even concluded that the latest update does not bring anything new to the system which is in contrast to version 3.00 update.
According to him, there were many commendable changes that the last update brought to PS4, to wit: ability to broadcast one's play session on YouTube, a chance to upload 10-second video clips to Twitter, communities to join, and many more.
The latest update, version 3.10 for the Sony PlayStation 4, is believed to have only brought only minor changes and mere additional make-overs to an already fully made-up and beefed up system. Gamers will eventually get the hang of the new update and its add-ins but might end up being less involved with them. Sony must make sure that future PS4 updates will be more significant the next time around.
