Quantum Break: Delay of Title Launch Explained by Remedy Entertainment

By

The long-anticipated Xbox exclusive Quantum Break has surely outdone itself in making the fans wait for extended periods of time just for a shred of news. Remedy Entertainment looks to explain their side thoroughly, making it so that fans do not let go of the fact that the game does exist, and that the stall they need is not about anything less than the best.

According to Vg247, Remedy Entertainment's upcoming title has not really shown much rays of light to make the fans satisfied in terms of knowing more. Since the game has been an idea for quite some time, and worse, the title has been moved for over two years, more fans have started to speculate that the game does not even exist-that is until Remedy released their official word that the game surely is in development, though it may take time.

Delivered by Game Spot, Quantum Break follows the television show of the same name, and Remedy Entertainment feels the need to explain the relevance of the said program to the game's development, wherein Same Lake of Remedy was quoted, "There's a lot of new technology; Xbox One is a new platform, it's a new universe, new story, there's new core gameplay. That means a lot of prototyping, and a lot of discovery. On the whole TV show side, there are a lot of challenges to figure out. It does end up taking time and, yes, we want to keep the quality high, so we don't want to make certain kinds of compromises, and are always making sure that this is iterated enough and polished enough and it's as good as it deserves to be."

As reported by Game Rant, Quantum Break will only presumably be at its optimum efficiency if the team gets the time they need to maximize the game's potential. Apart from that, the game itself is entering a whole new terrain, starting from the scratch in making a new universe. Lake also iterated that the creation of Max Payne 2 delivers a whole different approach, since a sequel is rather different from a game that is still bound to begin.

Quantum Break consists of an all-star cast, with Shawn Ashmore from X-Men, Lance Reddick from The Wire, Dominic Monaghan from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Aidan Gillen from The Game of Thrones. Remedy Entertainment's title is set to release on April 5th, 2016.
