After successful promotion, Dying Light's The Following may have good news coming to the fans after a while of waiting. Techland recently announced that their title is still in the works, but much closer to happening now than what it was thought to be.

According to Express, Dying Light is the latest title by Techland that fans have been officially going crazy over. With such a strong hype overflowing from it, the developers have finally announced that their latest major expansion entitled The Following is now set for launch in 2016. Though there is no marked date yet for the expansion, Techland confirms that it will be within the first quarter of 2016 which typically means an estimate between January to March or even April.

As delivered by Shack News, the developers are allotting this said period to perfect the necessary elements and surprises of the title in order as they plan to. To some fans, this may still not be concrete information but is surely a bit to hold on to. Techland let out a promise to the mass that they will disclose the date as soon as the company finalizes their decision.

Game Spot reported that The Following revolves around the story of Dying Light's protagonist Kyle Crane and his trip to the outback wherein he encounters a mysterious occultation which may presumably be the key to the zombie outbreak. Roger Craig Smith brings Kyle Crane's character to life, the same way that his talents have been rendered to the characters in Assassin's Creed and Batman.

The Following contains amazing features that will prove most beneficial to the roster, the most notable one being the dirt buggy vehicle. Techland declares this particular vehicle to be the most dangerous weapon created yet for the time being, as it can be customized, upgraded and has its own specific skill set.

Priced at $20, The Following is part of the Dying Light DLC pass. For the gamers who have not yet purchased the said pass, it can now be bought for only $15. Dying Light was released last January, where it boosted the company's sales records and even surpassed the fellow zombie title Dead Island.
