According to NDTV Gadgets, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will come with amazing specifications. Apparently, the Lenovo-owned company plans to do something about one of the bothersome issues of almost all smartphones -the battery life. The DROID Turbo 2 is believed to arrive having a 2-day-long batterycapacity. The device will also have the support of fast charging technology that can fuel 13 hours of battery life to the handset in just 15 minutes of charging.

Furthermore, Phone Arena cited other specifications that the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will be sporting. This device will feature a 5.4-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It will be engineered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset having an octa-core processor with 2GHz speed that will work hand-in-hand with the Adreno 430 GPU. The Droid Turbo 2 also has a 2TB capacity microSD slot on board.

A report from Tech Times stated that the Verizon Wireless posted a video showing the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will be the world's first smartphone with a shatterproof screen. It will house a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera that will feature zero shutter lag and offer Rapid focus.

The upcoming device will come in two models: the 32GB and 64GB variations of the device. The 64GB model reportedly includes the ability to refresh the design within two years. However, it is only available from the Moto Maker site.

The company has already sent out media invites for the launch of DROID Turbo 2 on Tuesday. Motorola is also expected to unveil the DROID Maxx 2 at the said event. However, not much is currently known about the DROID Maxx 2.
