Adele’s “Hello” Made Other Singers Cry

By

It must not be a coincidence but Adele is really making her comeback HUGE singing her new song's first line, "Hello, it's me." Well played Adele.

So yes, the British singer is back and she's successfully lured everyone to listen to her debut single "Hello". And now it's making other singers cry for different reasons.

Some of renowned artists are Adele's diehard fans and when she finally released her new song, they immediately took to their social media like Twitter and Instagram to profess their love for the record-breaking singer.

A few of the singers who cried in admiration for Adele were Sam Smith, Katy Perry and Russell Crowe. Katy Perry even posted a photo of her pillow where she left a crying outline that goes to show how moved she was by the song.

Even Lionel Richie, who sang the 1980s hit of the same name "Hello", joined the media buzz and posted in Instagram, "HELLO @adele is it me you're looking for...". Fans took part in these ongoing jokes posting Lionel and Adele memes.

And while other singers have a good cry out of this, there are others who can't help but cry since Adele's success is currently taking the number one spotlight.

"Hello" was viewed 25 million times in one day, and as of actual writing time of this article, it's already reached up to 69 million views and counting. So say goodbye to Taylor Swift's Bad Blood that only reached 20.1m views in 24 hours and it's time to say "Hello" to the new single that broke Vevo's highest records.

Moreover, in a report by The Guardian, when it was believed that Adele's album will be released in mid-september, this led other record labels and artists even with loyal fan bases to postpone their album releases and did not dare do it at the same time as Adele. This just made the comeback of "Rolling In The Deep" songstress even more dramatic.

"Hello" carries with it the heartbreak theme of Adele's album "21" which also held a record of its own, but the upcoming album "25" would be more about mending things and is expected to top music charts too as noted by Chicago Tribune.

"I would call it a make-up record. I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did." Adele explained when asked how she'll label this album.

So while she's making other singers cry with this feat, her whole album '25' will try to make it up to them as its theme suggests. The album will be released on November 20.
