Only recently news broke out that celebrity makeup artist, Jake Bailey passed away. Reportedly, the 37-year-old was found dead in his house from suspected suicide.
This heart-breaking event reached Katy Perry who shared a bond with the makeup artist. The "Roar" singer then expressed in her Instagram a message she dedicates for the talented makeup artist.
"Jake- My sweet, sensitive soul." Perry wrote, addressing her beloved friend and makeup artist. "What a wonderful journey and friendship we had together. What beautiful art we created together."
"We conquered the worlds biggest stages, together. I know you felt life so intensely and it created this incredible artistic passion in you that came out in everything you touched, from the amazing images you took to the ways you painted your muses, highlighting the beauty in everyone. You had the most otherworldly eye to detail..."
Bailey was found by a friend in his home in Los Angeles and was declared dead from suicide by carbon monoxide. According to CNN, a full autopsy report is pending says Ed Winter, a representative from the Los Angeles County coroners office.
Starworks Artists who represented one of Hollywood's top makeup artists released a statement expressing their sadness over the news and shared Bailey's accomplishments describing him as 'an undeniable talent'.
Bailey's works appeared in multiple publications including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair and Allure. He also covered photo shoots, music videos and red carpet events as cited by Mstars. His talent made sure that stars shine in all their appearances and did his magic on many of today's top stars including Paris Hilton, Taylor Swift, Emmy Rossman, Octavia Spencer, Mariah Carey and Ashley Benson. But his most frequent muses were Selena Gomez and Katie Perry.
Perry sure poured out her heart in her post for Bailey and the long message expressed how she'll forever remember her friend.
"I want you to know now finally and forevermore that I appreciate you and all the lessons we traded each other in this life. I love you. No more work, no more searching, you are finally at peace. Every time I sit in that chair we shared, just know, no one holds a brush to you, friend. Be free now. My prayers are with the Bailey family."
