Due to the pure success of Until Dawn, an Until Dawn 2 may be well on its way to the market. But the developers seem to have some other things in mind-and it may be way bloodier than the original, in the most different, horrific way possible.
According to Game Rant, it was an apparent denial by Until Dawn's developer, Supermassive Games, that a second installment is being created to precede the undeniable success of Until Dawn. As fans believe-and the records do not lie, that the newly released title belongs to the list of this year's top selling games, a continuity to the franchise is not at all surprising to them.
Delivered by IGN, it was recently rumored that Supermassive Games have started working on an expansion to the Until Dawn title, entitled Rush of Blood. This was immediately debunked by Supermassive, for reasons beyond public knowledge. Soon enough, however, the issue was resurrected, and fans may have forced the developers to do what should be-confirming Rush of Blood's existence.
As the public was made aware of Rush of Blood's emergence, new rumors have gone around about the game's theme, that being a virtual reality shooter on rails. During Paris Games Week, as reported by Engadget, it was truly declared that there truly is an expansion of some sort for Until Dawn, which is set to hit the market anytime within next year.
The rumors were confirmed through many footages and news that have circulated online, and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood will take players on a ride to their doom. Gamers will be placed on a rollercoaster, on a mission to shoot enemies that were based from the Until Dawn title. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood has been noted to support PlayStation Move, together with the conventional controller inputs and most importantly, the PlayStation VR.
Though the apparent upcoming title is of a different system, Supermassive looks to sustain the decision-based feel that made the original title a hit in the first place, even if not entirely the case for the Rush of Blood expansion.
