Rumors have it ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik is trying to get back with his former long-term girlfriend Perrie Edwards. After breaking up and calling off their engagement a few months back, Zayn is now starting to regret his harsh and sudden decision. Apparently the 22-year-old singer has been communicating with his ex, stating how much he misses and still loves her.
According to a report from Fashion & Style, Zayn Malik is regretting his decision. The 22-year-old celebrity has reportedly been texting Perrie Edwards and explaining how much he misses her. Sources claimed that although Zayn did not directly say he wants her back, friends of the blonde beauty are worried that Zayn will beg Perrie to give him another chance.
In another report from the Inquisitr, although the Little Mix star is slowly moving on from the 'terrible' breakup that left her devastated, Perrie is having a hard time seeing her ex-fiancée with other women. It's still unclear whether a possible reconciliation between the two will happen, however close sources to Perrie are concerned that if the two keep in constant contact, Zayn may try to sneak himself back into Perrie's life, and possibly leave her heartbroken all over again.
News of the sudden 'I miss you and still love you' texts came just days after 'Towie' star Joey Essex revealed he had a brief fling with the 23-year-old singer after her breakup with the now solo singing artist. Although a rep for Edwards denied the brief romance rumors, fans can't help but wonder whether it triggered something, and made Zayn realize exactly what he lost.
However, according to Hollywood Life, Perrie has nothing to do with her ex, and can't even stand him. In a recent interview, the 23-year-old singer called Zayn a British slang word 'bellend.' When asked if their latest single 'Hair', a song which talks about a breakup, is targeting at her former lover, Perrie straight away answered, "Yeah it is. He was just a bellend and I knew it."
Whether the rumors are true and Zayn Malik is trying to get back with his ex, it looks like Perrie Edwards is standing her ground, and won't have him back. Speculations are that Zayn is already getting comfy with another blonde female, after he posted a cute picture of him and his new 'friend' on his Instagram page. At the moment, Perrie is keeping herself busy with the various Little Mix projects, tours, and promotions while she continues to move on with the help of her three best friends, and members of the popular girl group, Little Mix.
