"Vikings" Season 4 is said to be action-packed and dramatic with rumors of King Ragnar Lothbrok to die in the show's upcoming episodes. Due to this, reports have surfaced that this is due to Travis Fimmel, the actor who plays the king of the Vikings, is set to leave the show.

According to Christian Today, the rumors about King Ragnar's death has been going around since the end of season 3 and reports have now surfaced saying that it has been confirmed that Fimmel is set to leave by the end of season 4.

It was reported that Fimmel was forced to leave the historical action drama as he has to be on the big movie adaptation of the video game series "Warcraft." The flick will be released on June 10, 2016. There has been no public statement from Fimmel or "Vikings" creator Michael Hirst.

However, Vine Report shared that Hirst talked about the possible death of Ragnar during this year's San Diego Comic Con. He shared back then, "I've always seen Vikings without Ragnar. I thought it was very important when I started thinking about this whole thing that Ragnar had many sons and some of his sons became more famous than he was. So I can perfectly well envision a world without Ragnar and further adventures for the sons."

In a report by Master Herald, fans are questioning what the plot will be if Ragnar will be taken out. It has been mentioned before that Bjorn will be taking over the Vikings but he has to fight his brothers for the throne before succeeding. During the San Diego Comic Con, Fimmel was also in the panel and shared that there will be more people introduced who are set to take on bigger parts.

"Vikings" Season 4 could see Ragnar Lothbrok's death as rumors continue that Travis Fimmel will be out of the set by the end of this upcoming season. The History Channel show will be airing sometime in 2016.
