Mistresses Season 4 Premieres Summer 2016 Without Jennifer Esposito; EPs Tease Karen's Pregnancy, Joss and Harry's Relationship Struggles

The illicit and secret lives of the Mistresses has been confirmed for renewal after three seasons. The American mystery soap television series Mistresses is up for its fiercer fourth season without Jennifer Esposito, the fate of Karen and her pregnancy, and the relationship of Joss and Harry. The sizzling Season 4 of Mistresses will compose of 14 episodes.

Jennifer Esposito who played Calista Raines for Season 3 has been confirmed to exit the show after her yearlong contract expired. Esposito was picked up to replace original cast Alyssa Milano who exited the show when the taping was moved to Vancouver in Canada, International Business Times reported. One of the major cliffhangers in Mistresses Season 3 was Calista who were seen attempting to commit suicide inside the jail.

A potential turnaround from her misbehaving roots is Karen Kim's character portrayed by Lost actress Yunjin Kim. In an interview of TV Line with series executive producers K.J. Steinberg and Rina Mimoun, the two teased Karen's pregnancy may bring her in a more appropriate direction. Mistresses Season 4 may potentially see Karen having her baby with Vivan and Alec.

Josslyn Carver played by Jes Macallan and Harry Davis represented by Brett Tucker will finally be together as per Season 3 finale. But Realty Today dished out that the two will not have their happy endings yet as Harry will have to juggle work and travelling. Harry accepts a job at Food Network in a travel show with Rocco Dispirito.

Mistresses is one of ABC's top scripted television series garnered 4.4 million viewers during its premiere episode, 3.91 million viewers with Season 1 finale, 4.66 million with Season 2 premiere, 3.74 million viewers with Season 2 finale, and 3.79 million viewers with the premiere of the third season.

Rina Mimoun, KJ Steinberg, Robert Sertner and Douglas Rae executive produced Mistresses. Season 4 is set to hit the small screen in summer of 2016.
