Super Smash Bros. 4 has been around for a good number of months and since it was released, fans have let out their emotions and ideas on what they would want for the title. Even after numerous updates, the thirst for more characters via DLC and features still overrule the community, and Nintendo may just answer the questions strongly.
Yibada reported that Super Smash Bros. 4 bases the inclusion of characters through the feedbacks and ballots of the fans. Nintendo has not yet revealed the new additions to the lineup, and as expected, rumors, and expectations ran around the web as to who those will be. Shovel Knight, as stated by developer Yacht Games, was recently confirmed of no longer being an option, but the slot offers more possibilities for other characters.
Delivered by International Business Times, some characters that have been speculated to enter the cast, however, include Isaac from Golden Sun, Wolf from Star Fox which follows Fox and Falcon who are already in the series and most rampantly heard would be the Inklings of Splatoon. These characters are still not completely confirmed, but fans are looking forward to their addition to the roster. Moreover, three new stages were declared to be part of the upcoming expansion as expected.
According to Ecumenical News, Super Smash Bros. 4 has currently gone through a lot of content updates since the early going. Despite the undeniably good characters that have been included, such as Mewtwo, Ryu and Greninja among others, fans are literally still craving for more atop the 50-character roster that already exists. Shovel Knight's omission from the series may be confirmed, but that does not end the opportunity for other characters to be in the cast.
