When Emma Slater and Alek Skarlatos performed a romantic Rumba, their chemistry bore through viewers' screen and instantly earned themselves devoted shippers. But while they managed to awe people with how they looked so perfect dancing together during the Switch Up Week, are they actually dating?
"Dancing With the Stars" Emma Slater and Alek Skarlatos have sparked a lot of dating rumors together but sadly, it looks like their romance ended after that dance. These speculations were nullified when the 26-year-old pro dancer has given her statement during her guesting at Good Morning America.
Only recently, Emma and her partner Hayes Grier were eliminated from the competition and following the tradition, the two was invited to perform at the morning TV show. And it's no surprise that she was asked about her status with Alek.
"We didn't go on a date yet. We'll see." Emma explained, delivering the sad news to shippers.
The chances of Emma meeting the Army hero when she's already out of the competition are quite unlikely. While she jokingly remarked that she should see him after breaking his nose, this should be a good excuse to treat him to dinner.
Apparently, while the two haven't had a date yet, they already shared an unforgettable bond. Alek may be an army veteran but Emma still managed to elbow the guy right on his face during their rehearsals. Who knows, the pro dancer might have left an impression to the terror train hero.
While Emma and dance partner were voted off "DWTS" in their seventh week, Alek and his pro partner, Lindsay Arnold, remain in the reality competition. To this, Emma announced her full support to her who-could've-been-her-lover.
"I want to see Alek go all the way!" she said, rooting for the 23-year-old to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy this season.
