Rumor has it that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs has called off their wedding, but there's absolutely no truth to this. The 29-year-old actor, known for his roles as Edward Cullen and Cedric Diggory, is still engaged to his 27-year-old singer fiancé. It's just that Rob and FKA Twigs are both busy on their own careers.
It's been quite some time since Pattinson and Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, were spotted together. There has been no news of any wedding plans yet despite the two having announced their engagement last April.
This then created a lot of break-up speculations with reasons varying from Twigs only using Robert to boost her career, to the actor falling into depression, the Pattinson family being against this marriage, and Rob's co-star Sienna Miller being the third party. A lot has been said but now a source has given a statement to dispel these split rumors.
"It's not on the top of their priority list right now and neither of them are in a rush to walk down the aisle," a source disclosed to Hollywood Life. "They are both slammed with career obligations and when they do say their 'I do's', it will be when they both have downtime."
Looks like what's halting the romance between Robert and FKA Twigs to take the next level are their own decisions to concentrate on their careers first.
The British actor is currently busy taking up multiple projects signing in both blockbuster movies and indie films. Recently, Rob has filmed "The Lost City of Z" opposite actress Sienna Miller whose chemistry together fuelled break-up allegations between the actor and his fiancé. Meanwhile, Twigs is busy creating and promoting her music through magazine, fashion shows and short films.
While it may be true that the couple hasn't called off their engagement, but judging by the rate of how things are going between the two, most likely their wedding may be postponed till 2016.
