On Saturday Night Live, Amy Schumer has announced to the public on being engaged with 'Silver Linings' actor Bradley Cooper. Their progressing romantic love life is apparently heading to a happy marriage.
Keeping up with his beloved fiancé's wit, Cooper though surprised in this sudden publicity of their 'relationship' gave his comments.
"I thought it was gonna be a secret, but she just decided to let the cat out of the bag," said the actor in good humor as cited by People.
America's new comedy "it" girl, Amy Schumer proclaimed the faux engagement plan in her opening monologue in SNL. Keeping a rather serious expression, she talked about how she's pretty sure that Cooper is in a romantic love affair with her. Schumer even recounted the story on how she met the American Sniper actor in an event and was shocked to hear him propose after a 30-minute conversation.
"Am I dating Bradley Cooper? I don't know how Hollywood works, but I'm pretty sure that I'm dating Bradley Cooper" said the stand-up comedian according to Inquisitr.
Cooper is not new to being the subject of comedy for Schumer when the latter also involved the actor in her jokes at a talk show, saying that he avoided her.
While the two are not in a passionate relationship in any way unless we count Schumer's one-sided claim on reality, the two celebrities are in good terms with each other.
According to Access Hollywood, Cooper sent a text to the comedian on this engagement announcement saying, "I texted with her after. I was like, 'That was hilarious'."
Bradley Cooper is currently busy for his upcoming movie 'Burnt' alongside actress Sienna Miller. This will be the second time he works with Miller after American Sniper. 'Burnt' will come to theatres on October 23, 2015.
