‘Titanfall 2’: A Whole New Type of Game That is ‘Worth the Wait’ as Respawn Deals With Nexon

Numerous hints regarding Titanfall 2 not been circulating after Spring, until an unexpected clue has appeared inferring from Electronic Arts' financial results.

When asked by an investor on how EA hoped to make as much money to equal their Star Wars Battlefront success, the company simply responded through Mass Effect: Andromeda and a possibility of Titanfall 2 may offset the former's success. The clue tells that Titanfall 2 may come out when the next financial year ends in March of 2017. According to Metro, game developer Respawn Entertainment has signed a deal with the Korean online and mobile publisher Nexon to make multiple Titanfall for iOs and Android. Nexon was said to be planning a free-to-plau version of Titanfall in Asia, and "Next year is going to be a very big year for Titanfall", according to Respawn Co-founder Vince Zampella.

Zampella announced a partnership deal with Nexon in the hopes of creating multiple games over multiple years with several and original Titanfall games. When asked about any Titanfall 2 update, Zampella simply answers: "I can't just say it yet. I promise that it will be worth the wait." According to EA, Titanfall2 is likely won't release until Fiscal Year 2017 which runs from April 2016 to March 2017, Play Station Lifestyle reported.

In addition, Nexon President and CEO Owen Mahoney told Polygon that they do not simply plan to put Titanfall on a tablet. Instead, they are going to develop a whole new type of the game. He added that they are not in the view to take a first person game just to put on mobile. Respawn on the other hand stated that it is about being able to extend their universe to the area that they are not expert in.

It seems that fans would still have to wait for further announcements for Titanfall 2, and hold on to Zampella's statement that the game is really "worth the wait."
