Zero Escape 3 Officially Titled 'Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma'; PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS Release Set Summer of 2016

Spike Chunsoft recently confirmed "Zero Escape 3's" official title which is "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma." In addition, reports have it that the third installment in the "Zero Escape" series is coming to PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in summer of 2016.

According to TechnoBuffalo, the Japanese video game developer Spike Chunsoft has revealed that its handheld text-adventure will be named "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma." It will be released on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS come summer of 2016. And as what the official announcement reportedly states, it is built "based on the success of its predecessors."

IGN also noted that the series mastermind Kotaru Uchikoshi was able to push through despite the obstacles, so as to deliver one of the most compelling and mind shredding video game experience the handheld platform has ever seen. In fact, Spike Chunsoft is even believed to release the game's official logo along with the announcement.

Furthermore, reports say that Spike Chunsoft released a new, evocative concept art that is quite darker compared to the older games. And while "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma" will receive both retail and digital releases in North America, Europe can only download it.

Meanwhile, Dread Central noted that "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma" somehow includes pure Japanese weirdness as it follows a mysterious rabbit-like being called Zero III who kidnaps people and forces them to take part in bizarre life and/or death games. Nonetheless, it is famous for incorporating philosophical themes into the narrative.

In the official announcement, the company provokes that choice is the only method of salvation and means of escape. Moreover, players are said to be making "impossible decisions and weather unimaginable consequences" as they "straddle the line between absolution and damnation."

While most fans would love to see just how Kotaru Uchikoshi will handle the idea of torture within the game, they have to wait until summer of 2016 - the release date for "Zero Escape 3" or, as what it's now officially titled, "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma."
