The first wave of the Xbox Live Deals for the upcoming Gold November 2015 has arrived and will now be available for purchase in the Xbox Store. These games include Pneuma: Breath of Life, Dirt 3, The Walking Dead Season 1, King Squad, and Dungeon Siege 3.
Xbox Live subscribers can now download Pneuma: Breath of Life for free on Xbox One while Dirt 3 is also available for Xbox 360 at 0 USD rate. On the other hand, The Walking Dead Season 1 will remain free for Xbox One until November 15. There will also be free downloads in the period of November 16 to December 15 which features Knights Squad free as OTA download for Xbox One and Dungeon Siege 3 for Xbox 360, Christian Post reported.
Meanwhile, Xbox One owners who also wish to play Dirt 3 may download the game as soon as it is made backwards-compatible for Xbox One. According to Tech Times, Xbox One shall be updated with support for backwards compatibility starting November 12. Microsoft Director for Xbox Programming Larry Hryb said in his blog: "Starting November, all future games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving Xbox One owners double the free games to each month."
Product Manager Aaron Greenberg said that Xbox will continue being competitive in the top markets with the stuff they have to offer. While aware that it is the game purchases which affect the console sales, Greenberg is confident that Xbox has the greatest games lineup in their business history. According to Latin Post, Greenberg added that they are unfazed by Sony's Holiday move with the price drops of PS4 games. When asked about Sony's price cuts, he simply commented that Microsoft is just focused on giving the fans the best value for their dollar. Greenberg stated that Xbox is always focused on over-delivering on value and promised that the company will remain aggressive in pricing, games lineup, and choice of bundles.
With the array of free games for Xbox Live and an upcoming backward-compatibility features, November is truly a month for Xbox Live Gold members.
