‘Project CARS 2’: Still in Development While Project CARS Improvements Continue

Slightly Mad Studios had recently been working a lot for the continuing improvement of Project CARS as numerous additions were released. Meanwhile, Project CARS 2 is also in progression through WMD Portal.

In over ten years of heritage in creating iconic games like GTR, Need for Speed, and Test Drive, Slightly Mad Studios has recently been creating another landmark for the success of Project CARS. Its recent release provided for thousands of positive feed backs and assets created for the game's further development. Meanwhile, a Project CARS 2 sequel is now in progress as ON DEMAND continues to make improvements on Project CARS with new features, upgrades, and additions. Project CARS official website said that Project CARS 2 will once again be created, tested, and approved by fans through WMD Portal crowd funding platform.

Despite the busy work on Project CARS 2, developments and improvements continue for Project CARS as it recently unveiled three new cars featuring the Aston Martin Track Expansion. According to Realty Today, the cars include a 1959 Aston Martin DBRI, a 2009 Aston Martin DBRI-2, and a 2014 Aston Martin Vantage GTE. Mojave, a new track will also be featured. This private testing ground along the wilderness of Nevada offers five race layouts and a special open Test Track with banked oval, drag strip, hill climb, skid pan and tight corner areas for open practice.

A Japanese Car Pack was also released on October 29. It included six new vehicles from Mitsubishi Lancer, Toyota, and Scion lines, according to Game Zone. Slightly Mad Studios, in cooperation with Bandai Namco stated: "With continual Feature Updates addressing items identified by the community and introducing new functionality, exciting Free Cars and beautiful Community-created Liveries, and a variety of themed Car Packs and Track Expansions, Project CARS is built for the future and continues to be a growing and evolving experience throughout 2015 and beyond led by the racing community around the world."

While Slightly Mad Studio's Project CARS 2 release is not likely before the year 2017, the developer continues to develop and improve Project CARS through ON DEMAND.
