Five DC villains are going to surface in "Legends of Tomorrow". Apart from that, Warner Brothers announced that the show still needs an African-American male to play a new character. Elsewhere, EP Andrew Kreisberg revealed some details about Firestorm.
Five DC villains are officially added in "Legends of Tomorrow", according to Science Fiction. The villains that are reported to appear in the series include Scandal Savage, Hath-Set, The Flying Dutchman, and Shadow Thief. The addition of Shadow Thief and Hath-Set are connected to Hawkgirl (Ciare Renee) and Hawkman (Falk Hentchel) while Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) is the father of Scandal Savage.
Aside from that, Warner Brothers announced a casting call to play the new character in "Legends of Tomorrow". Yibada notes that the production team is looking for a biracial or an African-American male who will wear the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope but suddenly disappeared.
Meanwhile, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased fans via Entertainment Weekly. He said, "The idea of a 2nd Firestorm being somebody who was just in his early 20s, somebody who was radically different from this Firestorm, and when you see Legends, you're going to see a lot more of the, 'Why are we doing this?' while they're merged. There's a lot more room for comedy with the Firestorm character than we previously had before. It's a freshness and an excitement."
Five other DC villains is set to appear in "Legends of Tomorrow". Other than that, the show is searching for an African-American male to play a new character. Also, the executive producer of the show shared some details about the comedic twist of the Firestorm.
"Legends of Tomorrow" is set to premiere in January 2016 exclusively on CW. "Legends of Tomorrow" is an American TV series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim.
