Despite announcing their divorce more than four months ago, Jennifer Garner and estranged husband Ben Affleck have been putting on a strong face as they seem to be amicable working things out. The former Hollywood couple have been spotted numerous times together over the last few months, with and without their children. However, a recent report showed Jen with a mysterious new man and although it's not been confirmed what relationship the two have, he's finally been identified.
According to a report from International Business Times, Jennifer Garner was spotted with a mysterious man over the Halloween weekend. The 43-year-old actress was spotted with the unidentified man in Malibu, California, alongside her six-year-old daughter Seraphina.
As soon as the photos of Jen and her new male friend went viral, fans automatically wondered whether he was a possible 'new boyfriend.' The photos of the three which showed they were all having a good time, also confirmed that Jen's daughter knew the man as she was photographed happily riding her bike with the man helping her by holding the bike's seat.
Starpulse also reported that the trio were spotted on Halloween, with Ben Affleck nowhere in sight. Rumors started spreading that Jen may be dating the mysterious man, as there's no way the mother of three would have let a stranger be so close to her children.
The news website also added how stressed Ben has been lately, adding that he's been leaning on his mother a lot over the last four months, and has even given up on looking after his own self properly. A source close to the actor stated how his mother has begged him to move back in with her once he starts filming again.
However, despite the numerous dating rumors, the Inquisitr was able to report on the man's identity and his relationship to Jen. Apparently, the 'mysterious' man is actually a next-door neighbor of Jen and the family, and he was simply helping the actress and her daughter out.
Although it's still not known whether any 'relationship' is going on between Jennifer Garner and her neighbor, the insider who confirmed his identity added that he's just a friend and is no one's 'boyfriend.' With that all clear now, fans can continue to support Ben Affleck and Jen as they continue to try and fix their relationship before giving it another chance.
