It's been more than two weeks past since the Clash of Clans massive update was announced at ClashCon late October and fans couldn't get more eager to be able to get a spin of it and get their hands on the new features that will be added to the insanely popular mobile game.
The gaming community can recall that developer SuperCell confirmed at its first game conference last October 24 that fans can expect to receive not just an update but the biggest ever to be released for Clash of Clans. However, no release date was revealed as to when the COC gamers can avail of the free update. But based on the statement from the developer, Game Zone wrote that the update can be expected to rollout this November or early December.
Via the game's official Facebook Page, it is said that the upcoming update is under way and it will still be needing SuperCell a few more weeks to launch.
The post reads, "We're still working on the update and it's going to take some weeks until its rolled out, but hopefully we'll start releasing some more info on what's coming soonish! We'll keep you guys posted." The FB post indicated that it's 'weeks' which could mean that the update could come out sooner than fans expect.Meanwhile, the developer already confirmed that the game's layout will extend to a 44x44-map size allowing the gamers to widen territorial base and defend it against attacks. The bigger map will also provide extra space for the new structures possibly packed in the new patch.
Touch Arcade reports that the new structures could include an Inferno Tower and a mortar which will serve as new set of defenses for Town Hall 11. Moreso, a rumor of a warlock character has also been making the rounds online as the third hero costing a whopping 6 million Elixirs. With the previous game heroes, the Barbarian King and Archer Queen, players have to shell out dark elixirs.
Stand by for news on the imminent release of Clash of Clans massive update coming anytime soon this month or better yet this week, fingers crossed.
