Angelina Jolie recently opened up in an interview on what it was like working alongside her husband, Brad Pitt. However, acting together proved to be rather overwhelming as the beautiful actress admitted being driven 'absolutely mad' by her long term partner.
According to a report from the Mirror UK, Angelina Jolie admitted that working with her husband on their latest project has put their marriage to the ultimate test. 'By The Sea' is directed by Angelina, who also stars as one of the main characters alongside husband Brad Pitt. The duo last worked together on screen back in 2005 where they played the role of 'Mr and Mrs Smith.'
People reported that the movie focuses on a married couple trapped in a loveless marriage. The 40-year-old actress admitted that it was a struggle, especially after they decided to film for it in Malta straight after their wedding as part of their honeymoon. "There were days during filming last year when we were really worried and it was hard," Angelina stated before adding, "But at the end we came out of it thinking, 'This was the best honeymoon,' because the film says, 'Whatever you go through, weather the storm and stick together.' "
The Daily Mail UK also added how Angelina admitted her and Brad had issues on set, and even added it got to the point of both of them being driven mad at each other. "Brad and I have our issues, to be clear: we have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems."
Despite their differences on the set, the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were able to finish the film in good spirits. Brad even praised his wife for her many talents and revealed he'd rather work and be directed by Angelina, than it be the other way round. 'By The Sea' will be released in the US on November 13 and the UK on December 11.
