Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas have decided to call it quits. The former couple who has left fans all over the world mesmerized with their '#relationshipgoals' relationship that boomed over the last summer has decided to mutually end things due to their hectic schedules.
According to a report from E! Online, despite flooding fans with their ultra cute and romantic Instagram posts as well as never-ending sweet social media shoutouts, Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid have decided to go their separate ways just months after they started dating.
Although the two celebrities have only been in a relationship for a few months, they both made fans all over the world fall in love with their romance, leading them to be the faces of everyone's 'perfect relationship' or what's been labelled as '#relationshipgoals.'
Despite making people believe in their perfect romance, 20-year-old Gigi and 26-year-old Joe decided to call it quits due to their busy schedules. Apparently, as Joe will soon be flying off to tour alongside his band, and with Gigi's modelling career rocketing off, the two felt the best option would be to mutually call off their relationship instead of waiting for the distance and stress to ruin them, as reported by the Daily Mail UK.
However, Hollywood Life reports that although millions of fans all over the world were left heartbroken by the news, ex-boyfriend Cody Simpson is more than happy after hearing of the breakup. According to sources, Cody doesn't like Joe at all, and although he publicly showed he wasn't affected by the now former couple's relationship, deep down he was waiting for that day to come in which the two would break up, so he can work on getting his girl Gigi back.
Another insider claims that the age difference also played a part in the split. Joe was ready to settle down, get married and have kids, while Gigi, on the other hand, has just started her professional career, and is still enjoying her young and adventurous life.
Although neither Gigi Hadid nor Joe Jonas has yet to announce their split, the news is said to soon be officially announced. Despite deciding to end their short relationship, fans will be happy to know that the two celebrities mutually decided on the split, and will remain friends.
