Xbox One Backwards-Compatibile Leaked Games List Reveals 'Madden NFL 16', 'Forza Motorsport', 'Rainbow Six Vegas 2', 'Witcher 2' and More

Xbox executives declared that list of backward-compatible game titles from Xbox 360 to Xbox One will be released on November 9, 2015. However, the rumored game list surfaced prior to the announcement, revealing games from popular series like 'Madden NFL 16', 'Forza Motorsport', 'Rainbow Six Vegas 2', 'Witcher 2' and more.

Latin Post cited the Twitter announcement of Xbox executive Mike Ybarra saying, "For those asking, we'll announce the initial set of 100+ backward compatible titles on 11/9, just a few days before our [Xbox One New Experience] release!"

The site reported that earlier on the mentioned date, a list of supposed backwards compatible games came out and was posted in a fan site. Among the games being brought up by the rumored list through backwards compatibility includes installments of "Halo", "Assassin's Creed", "Dark Souls", "Deus Ex: Mankind", "Need for Speed", "Risen", "Forza Motorsport", "Far Cry", in addition to others. Also made it to the rumored list are "Madden NFL 16", "Witcher 2", "Pacman CEDX", "Civilization Revolution", "Mass Effect" and many more.

The speculated game list emerged after the announcement made by Microsoft during the E3 Meeting that Xbox will have backwards compatibility with Xbox 360, International Business Times wrote. The Xbox is preparing for the backwards compatibility feature along with the Dashboard powered by Windows 10. However, fans worried that not all Xbox game titles will work with no problems with new Microsoft game console.

Game Zone noted what Xbox Chief Phil Spencer said that fans will be able to see the full list of 360 titles on November 9 and will be available to play on November 12 in time for the release of Dashboard update. This release date almost happen at the same time with the "Fallout 4" and "Rise of the Tomb Raider" coming out on November 10. Anticipating the official list of backwards compatible game titles, fans are hoping to see the classics such as "RPG Blue Dragon" and "Lost Odyssey".

Fans are expecting the official backwards compatibility game list will include their favorite game for Xbox.
