Angelina Jolie recently opened up on what it was like working and directing her husband Brad Pitt on their latest project. The 40-year-old actress admitted that they fight like normal couples and have their bad days, but working together so soon after their wedding was the ultimate test.

Hollywood Life revealed that since the release of their first movie together since 2005 is fast approaching, both Brad and Angelina have started to open up on their relationship. Though the 40-year-old actress had previously admitted she and her husband have had their issues, it wasn't until her most recent interview that she admitted she and Brad can drive each other absolutely mad.

According to a report from Just Jared, Angelina opened up to 'The Telegraph' on what it was like working with husband Brad Pitt, and how they often fought on set. The couple recently finished filming for their latest film together 'By The Sea'; however, Angie explained it wasn't as smooth and easy as they thought it would be.

"To be clear: we have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems, the actress stated before adding, "these were very sensitive themes and I know Brad's triggers and what he can do and what he is thinking about, so I had to step away and just be very careful in how he was directed."

Design & Trend also reported how challenging working together was for the two celebrities this time around. Apparently, Brad and Angeline both believed 'By The Sea' would be a piece of cake as they know each other so well. However, they both realized very quickly that it wasn't.

Despite their differences, the Hollywood actress stated they were able to get it through it together. "We made a private pact that we were going to try to be as open and honest and emotive as possible and give to each other as much as we could and, succeed or fail, we would just lay it bare."

Putting their differences aside, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came out victorious as they conquered the many challenges and struggles they faced on screen and in their personal lives. 'By The Sea' is set to be released on November 13, also starred by Mélanie Laurent, Niels Arestrup, Melvil Poupaud and Richard Bohringer.
