Today, US private equity investment firm, Behrman Capital announced that its portfolio company Data Device Corporation purchased National Hybrid Inc. Data Device Corporation was said to be the world's leading provider of high-reliability data communication and regulator technology. It bought National Hybrid Inc. from API Technologies Corp. for US$32.5 million.
The acquisition of National Hybrid would allow DDC to expand its product offerings. It would also strengthen DDC's status as the leading distributor of high-reliability data networking integrated circuit technology. Some of DDC's clients were the US Department of Defense and top defense and aerospace workers.
