HTC is believed to be focusing on its two upcoming smartphones, the HTC One M10 and HTC One X9 that are expected to be released on first quarter of 2016. These handsets are speculated to sport amazing features and specifications based on the rumors before.
International Business Times stated on its article that a leaker named @evleaks, stated that the HTC One X9 will be a phablet device with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels. The One X9 is expected to be engineered by a MediaTek chip, but there is no current information about the exact model yet. The chipset that will be incorporated in One X9 will work hand-in-hand with a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. A 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel front snapper are also featured in the device which will be powered by a 3,000 mAh capacity battery.
On the other hand, there are reports suggesting that HTC M10 will be loaded with a Quad HD display. This handset will be engineered by Snapdragon 820 with a 4 GB of RAM. When it comes to the handset's camera, it will be sporting a 27-megpaixel snapper.
It will be armored with a dual BoomSound speakers and a fingerprint scanner and be powered by a 3,500 mAh capacity of battery.
According to Softpedia, an HTC insider named @LlabTooFeR stated on Twitter that the HTC One X9 or E56 will launch in first quarter of 2016. Moreover, the Taiwanese tech giant plans to unveil the smartphone 2 or 3 months before the HTC launches its One M10 flagship device.
Latin Post added that with the release of HTC One M10 and One X9, the company is targeting to boost its sales. It was noted from the HTC's latest financial report that there is a registered $139 million net loss for the third quarter of 2015. There is a slim improvement from the previous quarter's $156 million net loss, continuing the Taiwanese company's agony this year.
HTC's upcoming smartphones One M10 and One X9 might be the shed of light the company needs for its sales. However, until the company unveils the official specs and features of both handsets, it is uncertain to weigh whether the devices are worth the money. For now, potential buyers will still have to continue relying on these rumors.
