‘Splatoon’ Updates: Two New Weapons Released

By

Nintendo's Splatoon, a recently released ink shooting game is gaining more popularity as Nintendo provides more fun and excitement with updates and additions. Recent updates include two new weapons, the Heavy Splatling Deco and the Neo Sploosh-o-Matic. The two new releases were essentially improved versions of existing plain weapons.

The game's official Twitter account revealed the releasing of a new weapon decal, the Heavy Splatling Deco when it encouraged Splatoon players to "try the Heavy Splatling Deco". Basically, the new weapon is the ornate version of the plain Heavy Splatling, bearing no stat changes, but appears to be a cool, bedazzled version of the former weapon. Functionally, it still works as the charger-like Heavy Splatling which shoots several ink shots with each trigger pull, as Design & Trend reported. The weapon decal was first announced specifically for UK, but was soon released for North America on November 6 and on Europe on November 7, for those who prefer a more bedazzled weapon style.

On the other hand, Splatoon's weekly weapon update provided Sheldon a new weapon called the Neo Sploosh-o-Matic. According to Nintendo World Report, such weapon is ornamented with a special emblem and is designed for close-quarters combat and flanking. The weapon's special feature is the Kraken.

Neo Sploosh-o-Matic, which was released last November 10, is basically an improved version of the Sploosh-o-Matic. Both feature quick and lethal shots against opposing Inklings. However, Sploosh-o-Matic allows a number of lethal shots while having some inaccuracies. The Neo version, on the other hand, treats such inaccuracies with its Point Sensors which would enable the weapon to locate sneaky Inklings, providing more accuracy to the target, Hardcore Gamer reported.

The bedazzled Heavy Splatling Deco and the accurate Neo Sploosh-o-Matic are now available and ready for use in Splatoon ink battles exclusively for Nintendo WiiU.
