Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso's divorce rumors have circulated months after Ben Affleck and his wife, Jennifer Garner, announced their plans to divorce. Apparently, the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor's separation with Garner has reportedly affected his bestfriend's marriage. The 10-year couple, Matt and Luciana, are now reportedly having a 'marriage meltdown'.
Affleck and Garner announced their amicable split a day after their 10th wedding anniversary. Matt and his close pal wed on the same year, only months apart. After a decade, Damon is now plagued with a $140 million divorce rumors. Will their respective marriage end just months apart as well?
According to Star Pulse, Matt wanted to catch up with his best bud that he spends some time with the newly single Affleck. Unfortunately, his wife Luciana does not seem to support him in this matter. The couple has been living in sexless marriage and Luciana is annoyed with her husband's acts every time he is with the Gone Girl star.
However, since Affleck is now single, it seems to make sense that the gossip rags would put out a story about Damon; the two guys are best friends after all.
Parent Herald notes that Matt and Luciana have been married for almost 10 years. They have four children and their marriage is pretty solid that they rarely made headlines concerning marital issues. Now there has been a "marriage meltdown," according to some reports.
But Gossip Cop claims there isn't any truth to the aforementioned rumor. While Matt may have hung around Ben a bit more frequently following his split, Matt and Luciana are doing just fine.
An impeccable source close to Damon reports Gossip Cop said that the entire story is ridiculous and there is no such issue. In fact, he and his wife are currently in London with their family as he shoots the next movie "Bourne".
It seems that the magazine just wanted to run a sensational cover tied to one of the biggest celebrity news stories of the year, even though Damon is not actually having any marriage problems. And Affleck's own situation certainly isn't affecting the stability of his pal's relationship with Barroso.
Currently, Luciana is with the entire family in London while Matt joins the production of the upcoming "Bourne 5" movie.
