Another team-based strategy game is coming into the gamers' path as The Creative Assembly will launch Total War: Arena this November. Aside from the launching, game developer introduces the Patch 12.4.
Shack News reports that Total War: Arena will have its debut this November with its Closed Beta testing. A special launch event will be held on November 13 at the ESL Studios in Burbank, CA. There will be 20 players from US and Europe in a Total War: Arena faced-off game. The game is a 10 versus 10 battle in a custom-made battlefield maps. The game entails teamwork and strategy.
The site further describe Total War: Arena as a free-to-play real-time strategy game with some multiplayer battle arena inspirations. It was announced way back in 2013.
As the game is currently in open beta testing in Europe and Russia, fans in North America will have the chance to feel Total War: Arena, confirmed MCV. The site even posted an announcement video.
On the other hand, PC GamesN wrote that Total War: Arena is approaching completion with beta update 12.4. The patch features a new map, improvements in visual effects and fixes to bugs and other issues. The Creative Assembly exposes Alpis Graia, the new map as a transalpine pass within mountain ranges and thick forest.
PC Games listed the inclusions of the patch. Patch 12.4 comprises of gameplay improvements particularly in forging UI, proper voice-over, distinct premium units, female premium units now have female unit models and regional matchmaking queues for Europe and North America.
The update also address issues like various crashes, various matchmaking bugs. The patch fixes bugs for text clipping on Bodkin Javelins tooltip, added unique cursors for deployables, selecting and then deselecting a unit in the army panel, among others.
