The LG Class that has been unveiled last September recently received certification from Federal Communications Commission and is now expected to be heading to AT&T carrier.
According to Latin Post, a reliable tech tipster named Evan Blass, also known as @ evleaks, stated way back in September that the LG Class is expected to be sold in the U.S. thru AT&T. And now, Blass' prediction seems to be one step closer to happen in reality as the LG Class has been recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Phone Arena stated on its article that when the LG Class was launched in Europe, this handset recieved a new name which was LG Zero. This handset boasts a metal build, which is not new for the manufacturer. Moreover, the LG Class is currently offered in Italy, and is priced at the equivalent of $320 USD.
Design & Trend cited the notable features that the LG Class carries. This handset sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi. Engineered with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 chipset, it houses a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz CPU that also works hand-in-hand with an Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. This device offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2 TB via a microSD card.
Despite its metal body, the phone is just 7.4mm thick and weighs only 147 grams. LG Class is armed with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera together with an 8-megapixel front facing snapper that is good for selfies and video chats. Powered by 2,050mAh capacity battery, the phone is ran by Android 5.1 OS. It also offers various connectivity options including LTE, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1.
The LG Class is being sold in South Korea tagged at $339 off contract while there is no definite price yet for this device. However, it is expected to cost cheaper in the US market and is likely to be offered at a lower price at AT&T.
