'Wonder Woman' Movie: Gal Gadot preparing for superhero role; Pre-production has begun?

By

Following the reports that "Wonder Woman" movie is a prequel of the upcoming Batman v Superman movie, rumors and speculations that the standalone superhero film has begun production are circulating around the web. Furthermore, details are being speculated.

According to the Cosmic Book News, the "Wonder Woman" movie has started rolling into production. On Sunday, the official photographer, Clay Enos, has updated a status on his social media account that they are bound to England for the official photography.

Additionally, Flickering Myth noted two more hints from two big persons. Geoff Johns, executive producer and DC Entertainment chief creative officer, revealed their location on Tuesday following another tweet from the "Wonder Woman" movie director Patty Jenkins that "it's the day!" This may imply that the production has already begun.

A day after, the "Wonder Woman" movie's lead star Gal Gadot updated her Instagram account with a photo of her "Morning work out!" According to her, it's "the best way to start my day!!! #workinprogress #wondergal" The hash tag she used implied that she is preparing for her upcoming big project.

Previous reports indicated that "Wonder Woman" movie will have Nicole Kidman (Queen Hippolyta) as Diana Prince's mother. The film will be a prequel movie of the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie where it will follow the story of Ares and the powerful sword.

Aside from Gadot and Kidman, Chris Pine (Star Trek) will also be joining the cast for the role as Steve Trevor. However, rumors say Sean Bean and Eva Green might possibly be playing as the villains Ares and Circe.

It was also rumored before that the team will be filming in Basilica, Italy. However, it might as well shift to London. While John's status states they are in Rickmanworth, England, sources are insisting that there is no such place as "Rickmansworth" in England. However, there is a place located in between Pinewood Studios and Leavesden Studios. Does this mean they are in pre-production or will they shoot in one of the studios?

The Studio is yet to confirm once they release an official announcement. For now, "Wonder Woman" movie is believed to have two settings - contemporary and the modern day.
