'Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls' Patch 2.4.0 Release: Confirmed To Include New Zone Greyhollow Island, Expanded Areas and More

Fans of "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" should be glad knowing that Blizzard has unveiled the details behind patch 2.4.0. It revealed a bunch of new content and features, such as the new zone Greyhollow Island, expanded areas, and a whole lot more.

According to Tech Times, the Los Angeles-based video game company Blizzard has revealed at BlizzCon 2015 patch 2.4.0 for "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls." Not only will the patch be the biggest update yet for the popular game, but is believed to introduce new events, more loot, and several new monsters. The list of features was reportedly disclosed by the company during its event called BlizzCon 2015.

IGN noted that a new zone called Greyhollow Island along with Set Dungeons will be included, the latter being a completely new set of challenges. In addition to that, the two new areas expanded in "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" patch 2.4.0 are the Eternal Woods and the Royal Quarters to offer extra variety to bounties. Furthermore, a new feature called Empowered Rifts, 40 new Legendary powers, and a revised buff UI are said to be part of patch 2.4.0.

As for PC owners, they are believed to be receiving season journey revisions, including the omission of new Seasonal Legendaries as soon as Season 5 commences. The said Legendary items in patch 2.4.0 will be made available regardless of players' season participation. A new action combat will also come to PC as an inclusion of the new patch.

Although the complete patch notes for "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" 2.4.0 haven't been officially released, Blizzard has already provided a preview, as reported by iDigitalTimes. The publication also added that the new patch will provide players a new way to spend their hard-earned gold, as they will be given the opportunity to risk large quantities of cash for the sake of have a better shot at loot.
