Apple Music is the first user-centric app Android app by Apple, offering more than 30 million song titles. Apple Music for Android launches in available countries except China where it is said to come "very soon."

Apple launched the Apple Music for Android app on Google Play Store where it can be downloaded for free. The app's three-month free trial package includes 30 million song options from the Apple Music library, reported Latin Post.

Users can listen to suggested music by Apple based on their interests or they can also stream radio stations. They can also search for music titles directly from Apple Music for Android.

Apple Music for Android is the first user-centric app for Android created by Apple. Apple's Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue, said: "This is our first true user app...we'll see what kind of feedback we get," Cue says. "We've tried really hard to make a great app for Android. We'll see what customers have to say."

The Android version of Apple Music offers the same navigation and most of the original iOS platform's features. Compared to the iOS app, it is expected to have a simpler and cleaner design identified with the Android platform. The Apple Music for Android app will not have Siri integration, however.

While Apple Music for Android has launched in countries where the iOS version is available, it is not yet launched in China. Yet, Tech Crunch reported that Apple Music for Android will come to China "very soon" according to Cue.

Apple Music for Android can be downloaded and installed via Google Play Store. The app requires the user to input an Apple ID in order to fully maximize its features. Without an Apple ID, a user can only browse available music and follow song artists.

With an Apple ID, Android users can have the app suggest music based on their interests. PC Advisor reported that the app has a For You option where music recommendations by Apple can be found. Users can tag songs they like with a heart icon to help Apple Music give more accurate future music suggestions.

There is also a share option in the Apple Music for Android. Songs, playlists, and albums can be shared to friends on email and social media. The latest songs by artists are highlighted in the New section of the Android app.

Apple Music for Android requires the device to run Android 4.3 or higher. With the app, Apple hopes to tap into the Android-dominated market of music streaming service.
