A number of Apple patents were officially approved and published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. One of the patents suggests that Apple will create a hybrid notebook that has a switchless Force Touch keyboard and a removable display.

Forty-four Apple patents were published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last Tuesday, CNNMoney reported. A patent titled Apple's Wireless Display for Hybrid Notebook revealed Apple's plans of creating a laptop with a detachable monitor and a keyboard integrated with Force Touch technology.

The patent suggests the idea of future Apple switchless keyboards, resulting to thinner notebooks. The Weather Space reported that the keyboard will use a switchless input mechanism instead of using traditional keyboard switches. The Force Touch keyboard keys will have ultra-low travel and will rely on sensors to send and receive data. The switchless keyboard will generate feedback by detecting the amount of pressure applied by the user.

Patently Apple reported that the future Apple hybrid notebook will have a display that can be removed from the base. Inside the base will be the computer's processor, battery, and a base wireless chip. The display will have the screen, a display wireless chip, and a power wireless chip.

When the monitor is detached from the keyboard, it will continue to function through the wireless connection between the display's and the base's wireless chips. It was not mentioned in the patent if the hybrid notebook display will have touchscreen capability.

Compared to the Microsoft Surface and iPad Pro, the future Apple hybrid notebook's keyboard is not just an additional accessory. It is required for the device to function properly. The keyboard works hand-in-hand with the display.

It was reported that a patent on a possible future Apple Watch was also granted. The patent showed that there could be a device similar to the Apple Watch that has a flexible screen. The gadget can be worn and snapped on the wrist just like an 80's bracelet.
