Tamar Braxton has officially withdrawn from dancing competition show, "Dancing with the Stars." Reportedly, the Real co-host quits DWTS due to serious health issues.
It was noted on Nov. 9 episode of DWTS that the 38-year-old TV personality was unusually weak. Braxton who was rushed to the hospital on Monday still persevered and joined the final minutes of the episode to avoid disqualification. Though she was able to compete in a team dance with Sharna Burgess and Nick Carter, she had to be sent back to the hospital afterwards.
While Braxton believed she was diagnosed with pneumonia, the DWTS star received a more awful news. The "Let Me Know" singer found out she's having several P.E.'s or pulmonary embolisms; blood clots found in both sides of her lungs. This ultimately got the "Prettiest Girl" singer to leave the competition and focus on getting through her illness.
Braxton of course did not forget to inform fans of her current state and why she had to leave DWTS. She shared photos in Instagram along with her message.
"With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has to come to an end along with the rest of my tour dates with @musicbykem." Braxton wrote and added positively, And in TRUE #tamartian form I must go about this the exact same way as I would anything else. I woke up to a mirror and saw myself this morning and that makes me the winner because that almost wasn't the case. Take care of yourselves... I love you and thank you ALL for your support"
She then ended the message with a note for her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
"Big hugs and kisses to my boo @iamvalc for being beyond a friend, brother and the BEST partner EVER."
Prior to Braxton, Kim Zolciak-Biermann also had to leave the show for being disqualified after not reaching the performance due to a mini-stroke. Though fans petitioned to help her get back on DWTS, she ultimately had to give it up. After a few weeks, the "Don't Be Tardy" star underwent heart surgery.
Meanwhile, everyone roots for Braxton, even to Biermann, to defeat not their competitors but their own illness and life's challenges.
