Fallout 4 Tips and Tricks: Top 'how-tos' to stay on top of post-apocalyptic game

By

Fallout 4 has been a true success even before its announcement and launch. Bethesda has put massive effort in making the game a full proper accomplishment, but getting through it is never easy. As some players may not know the essentials to excel in the title, a few tips and tricks may come in handy for the newcomers of the expansion.

According to Digital Trends, gamers may not be fully aware of how Fallout 4 works given that the game can be slightly complicated like shooting, crafting, building and even chatting. Some hints can be most useful in making the best out of every Fallout 4 gaming experience, and not to be left behind. One factor that must be put into account would be to charge the Laser Musket if it fails to take the enemies down, simply by reloading and hitting the reload button a second time.

As delivered by Video Gamer, players are advised to take cover consistently, by aiming the sights down. This is one feature that not all players know, but does come in handy when attempting to stay away from damage. In terms of quick presses, one tip that will be helpful would be to press E instead of Enter, and speeds things up significantly.

The Verge noted that narrow passages may sometimes be difficult to get through. Given that condition, players can just rotate the character and strafe over. Whenever the areas get dark, which will happen for quite a number of times, a torch will prove itself to be useful, simply by holding the TAB key, which can be Circle or B on the consoles.

Lastly, previous Fallout titles allow players to rest simply by pressing T. This is not the case for Fallout 4, since the character needs to be sitting. Gamers can simply look for a bed or a chair, and wait for the game to ask the character whether to rest or not.

Fallout 4 is a great game to invest in, but the success does not really come easy for most players. Tips and tricks can be most reliable when gamers know not what to do, or at least have less clues on what to do. Stay tuned for more updates on Bethesda's chart-topping title.
