Lithuanian start-up company, ImpressPages, has secured a Eur 200,000 funding from venture capital firm Practica Capital in its first external investment. The investment will be utilized to expand its products as well as for product enhancement.
In a statement made through CrunchBase, the web content management system company said that it will be add a product that permits its users to generate websites that are fit for multiple platforms. This will make the site easily accessible to both mobile devices and PC.
The statement said that the fund will be utilized for "company development financing" in a bid to develop the number of users of ImpressPages' product. It will also be used to enhance the product itself, claiming that "a significant expansion" of system functions are in the works.
Additionally, ImpressPages will also finance the development of ImppressPages Marketplace, an online store through which developers of the company's plugins can advertise their products.
"The store will be integrated with ImpressPages' interface so its existing users will be able to see additional tools available for expanding the functionality of their website," the statement added.
