"RHOA" Season 8 Updates: Kenya Moore starts at the wrong foot with new cast member Kim Fields

Kenya Moore is definitely hogging the spotlight on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" stage as she immediately sets off with an awkward encounter with new cast member Kim Fields as her current nemesis Sheree Whitfield divulges some embarrassing secrets about her property.

In the newest video preview of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Atlanta" (which is now on its eighth season), we see actress and director Kim Fields finally joining in the gang, Radar Online reports. Unfortunately though, Moore is not off to a smooth-sailing start. Right off the bat, Fields had a slightly awkward conversation with Kenya Moore which may mean that future spats and sass-mouthing episodes are abound to happen between the two.

According to OK Magazine, the former Miss USA wanted to pitch her Life Twirls On series to Fields knowing that she has a background in television. Things were going fine between the two when Moore suddenly pulled the stops by asking Fields some awkward, personal questions.

Moore started out by asking why she doesn't see Fields twirling around Atlanta. Kim was still cool with it and she tried to shrug it off by saying that she's busy taking care of her two kids. What really hit Fields' nerve was when Kenya tried joke around with her age.

"Do you still have those roller skates?" Moore asks.

The question is an allusion to Fields' role on The Facts of Life, her show which aired way back on the late 70s. Looks like the pair will be off to an interesting twist in the succeeding episodes.

Speaking of more Kenya Moore spats, fellow house wife Sheree Whitfield gets back on the former beauty queen. Whitfield's blog post last Thursday contained some juicy gossip, particularly about Moore's property in Buckhead, Atlanta. According to Inquistr, Whitfield said in her blog that the land Moore chose is a flooded area and basically just a mess of a construction.

"Should I keep scuba gear on deck? Why have there been so many buyers in the last year or two? Should I just start from scratch and tear this down? How will my guest get down my driveway without injuring themselves?" Whitfield quips.

Looks like Kenya has a lot of fixing to do, literally and figuratively. The next episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on November 15 on Bravo.
